GFI FENICS® Property is an on-line price discovery software to support the rapidly growing US, UK and Asian property derivatives markets. GFI FENICS® Property users can view prices currently available in the market, the property returns implied by these prices and graphs of historical data. This enables analysis of the relationship between property derivatives prices and property performances, thus identifying opportunities for profitable trading or investment.

In US and Europe, GFI and CB Richard Ellis, a leading global real-estate services firm run a joint, dedicated property derivatives broking desk. The desk educates potential market participants and brokers deals. CB Richard Ellis/GFI acts as a name give-up broker, finding counterparties for both sides of the trade, negotiate the trading level and, after execution, exchange the names of the buyer and seller. In Asia, GFI works with Colliers International, a global commercial real estate consultancy.

In April 2008, GFI Real Estate Derivatives, a joint venture between GFI and CB Richard Ellis Mellody, has been nominated as “Innovator of the Year” by Real Estate Finance & Investment magazine (REF&I), as part of their annual excellence awards.
