ACM/GFI’s joint venture combines the tanker broking expertise of ACM Shipping and GFI’s experience in developing new derivatives markets to provide brokerage services in forward freight agreements.
In 2005, ACM/GFI and McQuilling Brokerage Partners – a specialist in oil marine transport announced a joint venture, creating a wet freight derivatives broking desk at McQuilling’s offices in New York. This gives US-based shipping companies and charterers a single point of access for all their financing, chartering and hedging requirements.
